My iPhone – Jailbreak!

I can’t believe I forgot to mention this. On that note, I can’t believe I haven’t posted pictures of my iPhone yet. I’m in love with it BTW and I don’t know how I ever functioned without it.

Anyway, of course I would be on the bandwagon of hacking my iPhone. I used iBrickr software (for mac users out there, it’s called Breezy) It was a very easy process. This video walks you through it step by step. There are many Apps that pop up everyday I’ve noticed in The exploit.org PXL repository. This is a picture of the normal layout of the iPhone.

On my iPhone you can see I’ve filled in the last row of icons. The NES emulator is my favorite app.

Sure, there are always bugs .. but, the payoff is worth it.

Sweet! I especially like the terminal interface. Wonder what one could do with that, hmmm? :) The NES emulator looks cool too. What do you just download games as bin files? I wish you could plug in SD cards or something.

I think the iPhone is still a bit above my price range, but if it proves reasonably durable and remains crackable, I’ll have to consider it. Believe it or not, I actually want an iPod now. I haven’t seen any of the new gen kit yet in stores so I haven’t decided between a Nano and a Classic.

Ah yes, but guess what? They came down in price. There is a secret link to the $300 4GB iPhones (which I have that are soon going to be discontinued)

I’ve had smart phones before, but the iPhone completely blows all those smart phones away. I know I was able to function without it, but now that I have it, I’m questioning how I did so while being so organized at the same time.
